Measure your counter first. Then decide on backs, arms and swivel.
What height stool do I need?
Measure from the floor to the top of your counter and subtract about 10 inches. A standard 36 inch kitchen counter takes a counter-height stool; a 42 inch bar takes a bar-height stool.
How many stools fit at my island?
Allow about 24 inches of width per seat so people can sit and stand without bumping elbows.
Can I get stools to match my table?
Most dining collections offer a matching counter or bar stool, and unfinished stools can be custom finished to match anything you already own.
