They broke down the wood to the sizes I needed. Then moved 150 lb. sander out of my truck bed, loaded the plywood, and then put my sander back. Thank You! The only place on town that I found willing to sell to a DIYer customer who is just getting into woodcraft and... furniture making. Everything else caters to builders, so this is exactly what i was looking for. I had some idea of what I was looking for, but the selection was better than I expected. Wood isn't cheap right now, but prices seemed fair for market conditions. I also was kind of a jerk and came in shortly before closing and staff was still patient and helpful as I struggled to calculate prices by BF for the first time. Thanks for making a daunting experince more easy. Ill be back for sure.read more
Definitely a love hate relationship with this place. Love the fact they always have what I need for work to include... staff that help me get some of the larger items off the rack without complaining. For me it seems like the $400 dollar store every time I go in. I even bought my kitchen cabinets from here.read more

My husband and I go to CO Lumber several times a year hunting high quality lumber for woodworking projects. Not only do... they have a wide selection of wood, but they have beautiful craftsman made tables, desks, bars, chairs, etc. Need a ready-to-hang mantle? A live edge slab? You need to come check this place out. The showroom/warehouse is well organized and clean, and the employees are knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. It's nice talking to someone who knows all about the different wood qualities and stain information and doesn't mind taking the time to help you. I am so impressed with the variety of lumber and furniture to be found here. My first visit was to source live edge... slabs to make some shelves. This last visit was for a pair of unfinished stools. While I was there I mentioned a coffee table I'd missed out on buying last year. Erick knew exactly what I was talking about and let me know they had a new shipment.I am pleased with the quality product and customer service, and completely enamored of the new table.read more
They have a nice showroom and decent selection of woods and whatnot, but man the customer service is seriously lacking.... I had to ask so many questions just to get some simple information and of the 3 workers I spoke with, every one of them acted like I was a massive burden. Unfortunately I will not be ordering from them since it all seems like too much of a hassle.read more
We bought two oak counters and two upper shelves to match the others we had in our kitchen. First off they were very... expensive, but we put our trust in Colorado Lumber, after shopping around and ordered them.The only part of the counters and cabinets that are not particle board are the faces. At that not particularly heavy particle board. After we opened them up, inspected them, and installed them, we realized that there was only one half depth particle board shelve for the two 24" deep counter. So we have only one shelf for two counters, and that shelf is only half the depth of the counter, and none for the cabinets up top, which aren't even drilled to take any shelves. In calling back, we were told, that's the way they are supposed to come. Check your kitchen cabinets and see if they don't have a number of full depth shelves. If we had been told that in the first place, we would not have bought from Colorado Lumber, and probably will not buy from them again!read more
